Item Category Rule controls whether the tax applies to all or none of the inventory item categories you have established in Item Category.
Valid values for the Item Category Rule are:
| • | All Except... - Apply the tax to all taxable items except for those items with an item category equal to one of the item category exceptions in the Sales Tax Item Categories tab. |
| • | None Except... - Do not apply the tax to any taxable items except for those items with an item category equal to one of the item category exceptions in the Sales Tax Item Categories tab. |
You can enter an unlimited number of exceptions for either Item Category Rule.
