Disc Taken

Discount Taken is the amount of payment discount you may take for early payment.  Discount Taken is automatically populated with the calculated Discount Amount if the discount is still available. 

You may only take a discount if the Discount Amount plus the Payment Amount equal the Original Amount.  Discounts may not be taken on partial payments.  See Company Setup for a discussion of the accounts and classes used to post discounts to the General Ledger.
