Disc Amount

If terms are associated with a bill that has an early payment discount and Payment Date is on or before Discount Date then the available discount will be calculated and displayed when Pay is checked. 

You may only take a discount if the Discount Amount plus the Payment Amount equal the Original Amount.  Discounts may not be taken on partial payments.  See Company Setup for a discussion of the accounts and classes used to post discounts to the General Ledger.
