Delete

The Delete button allows users to delete documents or entities from the system. 

 

Some documents and entities cannot be deleted for the following reasons:

 

Accounts, vendors or customers with activity cannot be deleted.  You may mark an entity inactive if you do not want to allow additional activity for the entity. 

 

Documents such as vendor bills that have been paid or customer invoices for which payment has been received cannot be deleted. 

 

You will receive a message if you attempt to delete an entity or document that can no longer be deleted.

 

If the delete was successful, the screen will be cleared and ready for the entry of a new document.
