Reference Nbr

Reference Nbr is a recommended but not required field.  Assigning a reference number will help to identify the entry to retrieve it to the screen or on a report. 

If you leave the field blank, when you save the journal entry, it will be assigned an "JL????????" number that is automatically incremented each time using the Company Setup Last Journal Entry Doc Nbr.  You can use this reference number or assign one of your own.
