Sales Account

Sales Account determines the classification of the sales revenue generated from this item.  A Sales Account is required for each item.

You may specify a unit cost per item and that cost will be used to generate the accounting entries to record the dollar value reduction in inventory and the increase in cost of goods sold.  The Inventory Account and Cost of Goods Sold Account are discussed below.
