Amount

If both Quantity and Rate are not equal to zero, Amount is calculated as Quantity times Rate.  You may also manually override the calculated amount and enter an amount of your own.

Amount may not be zero, unless the transaction is a description line only.  You can enter a negative amount as long as the total of all detail lines results in a positive amount.
