To access the Create Sales Order functionality, right click on the mouse in the header section of the Estimate application and select the Create Sales Order option.
1. You will be prompted to confirm the creation of a sales order. Upon confirmation that you wish to create a sales order, the Sales Order application will be loaded with the newly created sales order.
2. The sales order will be generated exactly like the estimate. If there are five transaction detail lines on the estimate, each for $100.00, then the sales will also have five transaction detail lines, each for $100.00.
3. You may modify the sales order in the Sales Order application. See Ship & Invoice for a detailed explanation of invoicing customers for sales order shipments.
