Use Estimate to a generate a sales proposal or job budget for a customer.  An estimate does not have any financial impact on your business and does not update customer or account balances. 

 

Start by filling in the header section.  A Customer ID is required.  Next fill out the transaction section.  You can enter as many transaction details as you need.  When you have entered all the transactions for the estimate click on the Save button in the toolbar.

 

To see a list of all existing estimates, click on the Find button in the toolbar.

 

If you are awarded the job or complete the sale, you may generate an invoice from the estimate for the entire amount or a percentage of the entire amount.  See the Additional Functionality section.
