Post Date

Post Date is the credit card charge will be recorded in the general ledger date and defaults to current system date.  Post Date can be changed to any future date or any previous date so long as the new date is after the Close Date entered in Company Setup. 

No credit card charges may be added, changed or deleted if the bill date is on or before the company's close date. 

Post Date is required to complete a credit card charge.  Usually the date of the credit card charge is used as the document date.
