Credit Card Charges

Use Credit Card Charges to record the charges made to your credit card.  You may enter charges from individual charge slips or wait until you receive a statement from the credit card company.

 

Start by filling in the credit card charge document.  The required fields are Charge Account, Date, Doc Type, Purchased From and Amount.  Next fill out the document detail.  You can enter as many document detail lines as you need.  When the total of all the document detail lines equals the credit card charge amount, you are done and click on the Save button in the toolbar to save the document to the database. 

 

Credit card transactions entered in Credit Card Charges only modify the balance of the credit card account and not the balances of the entities paid using the credit card.
