Account

ObjAcct requires the use of an Account ID.  Account IDs can be up to 30 characters in length and contain numbers, letters and special characters.  Account IDs are important because the order that the IDs are in is the order that they appear on your financial statements. 

Accounts are listed on the financial statement by account type then account ID.  Create an ID scheme that respects this order and they will be easier to work with.

If segments are setup for the class field in Key Segment Definition, the individual segments will display in the Account General Window and the Account ID will be populated with each segment value and separated with a  "-".  

If a segment is to be validated, a drop down list will be available that contains the valid values entered for the segment in Key Segment Validation.
