Allocation Method

Allocation Method controls how the amount being allocated is distributed to the destination account class combinations.  Allocation methods are assigned to distribution templates in the Distribution Template List screen and are display only.

 

Valid values are:

 

•Percent - The amount allocated is distributed to each destination account according to the percent entered in Percent for each account. The total of the percents for all destination accounts in a template must equal 100%.

 

•Amount – The amount allocated to each destination account must be entered at data entry time.
