The Accounts Receivable Aging Detail report displays one line for each outstanding invoices, credit memos and unapplied payments and divides each document into categories based on the due date of the document. Documents are subtotaled by customer and by accounts receivable General Ledger account. By default the report is prepared using the current date. The report can be run for earlier dates. If an earlier date is selected, invoices, credit memos and unapplied payments with dates later than the report date will be excluded. Customer payments with dates later than the report date and for documents with date earlier than the report date will be excluded so that invoices, credit memos and unapplied payments that are paid or applied as of the current date will appear outstanding.
The report is sorted by General Ledger accounts receivable account and customer.
The aging day interval is the number of days used to segregate documents into aging categories.
Drilldown, or the ability to take a closer look at the original documents that generated the transactions is available.
