Actual versus Budget By Class

The Actual versus Budget By Class report allows you to compare account actual balances to the budgeted balances for a given fiscal year and budget type. 

The primary sort for the report is Class.  There is a page break at each change of class.

The Budget List By Class displays the year to date budget information for the fiscal year selected and budget type selected.

The list of accounts displayed may be changed by entering a single account number or by using wildcard characters to select more than one account.  An asterisk "*" matches the rest of the string.  Entering "10*" will cause all accounts beginning with "10" to be displayed.  A question mark "?" replaces a single character.  Entering "1??5" will cause every four-character account whose first character is a "1" and whose last character is a "5" to be listed.

The list of classes displayed may be changed by entering a single class ID number or by using wildcard characters to select more than one class.  An asterisk "*" matches the rest of the string.  Entering "S*" will cause all classes beginning with "S*" to be displayed.  A question mark "?" replaces a single character.  Entering "1??5" will cause every four-character class whose first character is a "1" and whose last character is a "5" to be listed.
