Allow Prior Period Entries

Allow Prior Period Entries is used to identify users who may enter documents or transactions that have a financial impact in a fiscal period that has already been closed. 

Users with this field checked, are permitted to enter documents, for which they have access rights, with a Post Date prior to the Fiscal Period Close Date in the Company Setup application.  

All other users may only enter activity in applications for which they have access rights, with a Post Date greater than the Fiscal Period Close Date in Company Setup.
