Customer Balance Detail

The Customer Balance Detail shows the activity posted to each customer's accounts receivable balance.  The customer balance is increased by invoices and customer charges and reduced by credit memos and payments.  By default the report is prepared for the period from the first day of the current month through the current date for all accounts.  The Begin and End Dates may be changed to any other values. 

 

If activity exists before the Begin Date of the report a beginning balance is displayed. 

 

A single customer can be displayed by entering a single Customer ID.  Wildcard characters can be used to select more than one customer.  An asterisk "*" matches the rest of the string.  Entering "OH*" will cause all customers beginning with "OH" to be displayed.  A question mark "?" replaces a single character.  Entering "O??O*" will cause every customer whose first character is an "O" and whose fourth character is an "O" to be listed.

 

Transactions for each customer are ordered by date.
