Use Classes |

A class is a way to further organize and categorize your accounts. Classes are used in conjunction with Accounts and Subaccounts and can denote departments, divisions, sales teams, cost centers or revenue centers. The use of classes is optional.
If you want to make sure that classes are used for every entry, you can make them required. When you set Use Classes to "Required", a class must be entered for all transactions.
If you Use Classes is set to "Not Used" the class field will not appear in the transaction grid section in the activity screens and the class field in the header section of the activity screen will not be enterable.
