Balance Sheet Summary

The Balance Sheet Summary report shows a snapshot of the company's account balances as of the report date.  The report date defaults to the current date but can be changed to any other date. 

 

The Balance Sheet Summary has two main totals, Assets and Liabilities & Equity.  Each of these is subtotaled into current and long-term portions.  The following account types compose current and long-term categories:

 

CURRENT ASSETS

LONG-TERM ASSETS

CURRENT LIABILITIES

LONG-TERM LIABILITIES

Bank

Fixed Assets

Accounts Payable

Long-Term Liabilities

Accounts Receivable

Other Assets

Credit Cards

 

Inventory

 

Other Current Liabilities

 

Other current Assets

 

 

 

               

After current and long-term, the report is subtotaled by Account Type.

 

Drilldown, or the ability to take a closer look at the transactions that generated a part of the report and the original documents that generated the transactions is available.
